New costume- browns

This is the closest version of what i will be wearing to the Texas Renaissance Festival this year. I think i will re-do the blouse in linen or gauze. The cotton is too heavy and hot, and was mostly just a rough draft (though it turned out perfect).
Petticoat needs to be re-hemmed, it turned out about 2" too long. Beautiful if it was an overskirt, but its not, so i still have to walk. Its needs to be shorter.
Overskirt needs to be hemmed. I have not hemmed it so i can leave it to hang until November, because i'm certain the weight of the fabric will lengthen a bit.
And happily the cleavage is still perky despite layers. Rawk.

Proud of myself! I want to make real clothes now too. a skirt i can wear regularly. A goal!
